North Media A/S adjusts expectations upwards for 2018

North Media A/S specifies revenue expectations for 2018. Group revenue is now expected to be in the region of DKK 1,140 million. Previously, group revenue expectations ranged between DKK 1,120 million and DKK 1,155 million.

EBIT expectations before special items are increased to be between DKK 107 million and DKK 110 million compared to previously between DKK 75 million and DKK 95 million. This upward adjustment results primarily from larger volumes of printed matter and cost savings at FK Distribution in the last half of the year and a generally better development in earnings of North Media Online and BEKEY.

Special items are expected to around DKK -16 million in 2018. The increase in H2 2018 is related to organisational changes carried through at North Media Aviser. At 30 June 2018, special items stood at DKK
-13.6 million and were composed of termination benefit costs in connection with organisational changes as disclosed in Note 4 to the Interim Report 2018.

In 2019, EBIT is expected to be on a par with that in 2018. The expectations for 2019 are uncertain due the the development on the markets for advertisement.

The expectations for 2019 will be specified in connection with the Annual Report 2018, which is expected to be released Thursday, 7 February 2019.
